1-866-661-WARM (9276)Scott A. Douglass, BS1-866-661-WARM (9276) Need someone to listen? The PSAN Warm Line is available for individuals who need someone to talk with for support. This service is provided by Peer Support and Advocacy Network (PSAN) in partnership with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Office of Behavioral Health and Community Care Behavioral Health. Below are some of the details on how it works: The warm line is operated by the Peer Support and Advocacy Network under a three (3) year grant from CCBHO.
The warm line is available from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week.
The line is available to anyone who needs support and a friendly voice.
The operators/staff have degrees and/or experience in the mental health field and are mental health consumers.
If an individual calls the warm line and all lines are busy, they can leave a message on the voice mail and an operator will return the call ASAP.
Callers do not have to provide personal information.
Callers may also receive referral and contact information to services available in the communities.
For callers who are currently in a crisis situation, the operator will put them in direct contact with Allegheny Crisis Emergency Services (ACES), who can provide both phone and face-to-face intervention assistance.
