Our agency offers a number of Child and Adolescent Services including our Student Assistance Program (SAP), our School Based Therapy Program, and our Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services for Children and Adolescents (BHRS).
SAP brings services to where the student is: in school. Milestone personnel participate in the SAP teams and offer mental health expertise and consultation to Gateway, Penn Hills, Plum Borough, Riverview and Wilkinsburg School Districts as well as Forbes Road East Career and Technology Center. Our master’s level mental health liaisons have extensive training in adolescent, family, and school-related issues. Milestone's School-Based Therapy Program provides prevention and intervention services to meet students' mental health needs in the school setting. Our Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services for Children and Adolescents (BHRS) are designed to provide identified children who have been evaluated and found to have a mental health diagnosis, with behavioral health support in the home, school and community setting.
